We stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago and really enjoyed ourselves. It's right in the middle of downtown. We walked to the French Quarter (4 blocks) and Harrah's (3 blocks). It's just down the street from the Superdome (probably 5 blocks, ... The homes were incredible and the trolley was the perfect way to see them ... It dropped us off one street over from the hotel on the way back ... We didn't spend a lot of time in our room (too much to see and do), but the furniture was upscale and the room was very clean. I'm a stickler for clean bathrooms and ours was spotless. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

My wife and I recently had the occasion to visit New Orleans and stay at the Parc St. Charles. We travel more than most and have stayed at numerous hotels throughout the country. Our stay at the Parc St. Charles was a memorable visit to New Orleans, and we would not hesitate to visit again. We found the staff and particularly the manager, friendly, courteous as well as extremely helpful. The rooms were equal or better than any we have had in our travels. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans to reserve rooms at the Parc St. Charles. For a tourist, this hotel is situated in the center of it all, and it comes with resident guides (the staff) to help you plan your daily trips around the city.

We were in the big easy for a basketball tournament and found the Parc St. Charles a wonderful place to stay. the front desk, housekeepers, valets, and other employees were very friendly and helpful. the location is superb - walking distance to Riverwalk, the Superdome, and the French Quarter. The room was very well decorated, clean, good bed, and good a/c. and the rates were very, very good - esp. for a hotel with this location. even bathrobes were furnished... good experience, and I will stay there again.
